It's not for me. It's easy to read, but I feel like I get more from other Bibles. I feel like I'm missing some of the meaning in some of the texts. I don't like the robotic sounding voice. I DO like the highlighting capabilities. I like how when you search, it briefly highlights the scripture. I like how the index is old testament in black and new testament in red. I don't even mind the little add banner for another bible app at the bottom.
Like the app alot. Fairly easy to navigate the menu to find the different books . Can not stand to voice or the audio nor the cadence of her reading. Can not change the voice -no place to do that and tried to adjust the cadence so I can understand the reading. No inflection in her voice so the readings sound like run-on sentences. Looking for a new app with better audio voice and cadence.
This app has just about everything I need. I prefer it over previous Bible apps I tried. Best feature to me is the optional reading plans and the audio feature. To make this app perfect, I would update the daily reader to an easier way to start each daily reading. Also, the automatic reader to stop once completion of that day's reading. With option to start next day readings if choose.
