I finally found the app that I was searching for! Now I can record someone speaking my practice language, I repeat what they said and then I play back both and compare. Perfect!! I'm still not sure how to use it without a practice partner who speaks my target language. I'll have to use another source of audio coming through a speaker for the pronunciation sample. Edit: please enable file access permission request. I want to save a file to the phone so I can share it. App must request permission
It's good App but Unfortunately, on a Xiaomi phone with Android 13, While there is no request for permission to access storage at all in the permissions section of the app, after recording, when saving the file, it gives the following error message: With permission to write to external storage it isn't possible to save recording outside of the app. You can enable the storage permission in the android settings. Please fix the problem with new update. Thanks
This is the ONLY APP that gives an "instant playback" without having to save the recorded sound, as far as I looked around. Very useful for short practices of singing, speech, etc, where you want to say/sing something short, listen immediately to what you have said, and try to do it better. Those who want to record something long in order to listen later should use something else. It's not the sales point of this app. I wish there was a mac version of this. Please make one !
