I love edX but it could use some work. I'd love to be able to save courses I want to take. I want to devote what little free time I get to the right course and it's hard to chose and find the right one with no way to save the ones you are looking at. Great simple app. EDUCATIONAL obviously!!
The concept is great, but the whole app is just buggy and flaky. I've only gone through the "Navigating the app" course, but the controls just flat out don't work. You constantly have to go back and forth to get the next page to load. The exit button to back out of the lesson doesn't work at all, so the only way to pause a lesson is to force close the app. And no matter how many times I've gone through every step of the lesson, I still can't get it to acknowledge that I've completed the lesson.
The October 11 update made the user experience much worse. Before, there was a list of the available videos from a course module that you could pick from. Now you have to browse left/right until you find the video you are looking for. Also, I can't watch the videos offline anymore, even though I downloaded the videos and the icon changed from a down arrow ("download") to a checkmark ("download completed").
