Would be five stars, but... My 3 year old loves this, so we upgraded. However, I did it on my phone while he was playing on the tablet so that I could "restore purchase" on the tablet and make it a seamless transition. No matter how many times I uninstall/reinstall/restart the tablet, in various order, it will not allow me to restore my purchase. Yes, it's the same Google play account. No, it's not the kids profile (which has caused problems in the past). The button isn't even clickable. :(
The app is helpful, but i feel like it's falling short in a couple places. What i think it needs is to use the letter tracing as a lock that it goes back to after a couple of activities, as the other activities generally don't have any educational value. Also would be nice if there was an activity that used the mic for a response so the child could try to repeat the letter. It would need parent configurability for letters the child has problems with (to make a valid response easier to achieve)
Links to download other apps should not be in a kids game. Particularly other apps that are trying to get you to buy more premium versions of their games. My 3 yr old can't play this for 5 minutes without getting frustrated because every other thing she touches tries to get you to install another game and redirects to the play store. Paid for the full version and had to take thw game off my phone because I was tired of listening to a mad toddler. Disappointing and poorly thought out.
