this app sucks. it is soooo controlling and there is either all or none of it. this would be great for younger kids, but as a 14 year old, it is inconvenient and dumb. it would be nice if i could check my digital wellbeing and set time limits for myself, but noooo you had to take that away too. as someone who mainly uses their phone to take pictures and communicate with friends through text, the fact that the whole phone shuts down is frustrating. DON'T DOWNLOAD IF YOU VALUE YOUR SANITY
Horrible app, stops you from doing things like installing apps etc. There IS a way to bypass the break/bedtime lock on android. When the lock activates, click on the messages icon. When the app opens, put it into split screen. It might kick you out, but just repeat. Open any other app that supports split screen view along with the contacts app, then tap on the messages app several times. Again, might kick you out, but just repeat. After a couple of mins, make the other app fullscreen. DON'T EXIT
I leave my phone at home because I get anxiety if my friends see that embarrassing pop-up. Need permission to download apps. Can't watch YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram. App is potentially dangerous in emergencies cuz I can't call or text ppl when the phone is locked. I'm 14, and I have no control over my phone, like what's the point of having a phone if you can't even use it. This app is for toxic parents who use this app as abuse and punishment instead of protecting your kids like it should be.
