Having trouble connecting this app to the ceiling fan. I will update ratings once I figure it out. Right now the app is pointless. Have the app open ready to pair. When you turn power on to the fan and hear a beep tap the pair button. Don't "long press" anything. We have a switch to turn power to fan on and off. Sometimes it would beep sometimes it didn't, I think it needs to beep in order to pair.
I see many of you had the same problem I had. I finally found the solution after some research. I have no light switch for the fixture, by the way. Power to the fixture needs to be turned off and on 5 times for the Bluetooth to pair correctly( no switch) turn off and on your circuit breaker 5 times making sure your Bluetooth is turned on and app for the fixture opened and ready to pair. This worked for me like a charm. I would've given more stars, but they need to better the app.
After many attempts to pair my mobile phone to use the app which is much better visual control for the fan lamp I finally managed it. By simply turning of my internet connection on mobile and did it using phone data. So at the wall switch the lamp on then withing 5 seconds hit the pair tab on the app and it went through the pairing with the light flashing 3 times and it all worked perfect. I then turned wifi back on on mobile and all is good.
