Best tuner app that I've used. I honestly don't think I'll use another app for tuning as long as this one doesn't end up getting wrecked. Best things are there are no ads that you have to sit through in order to tune, there are a ton of tunings and multiple instruments to choose from, pro access is free and comes with a bunch of cool features, the absolute best feature is the ability to create custom tunings and save them! If you need a portable tuner you can't go wrong with this one.
It's a great app and the features are amazing. I have recommended it to many people and even they say it's great. It would be five stars but the reference pitch for the pro tuner is not working. When I try change it from 440 to 427 (like for dimebag tuning) it just doesn't work. Otherwise, it's a pretty good app and would recommend.
For a beginner tuning app, this will do the job. Short of getting a tuning pedal (or amp, etc) this is the best you're going to get. Only compliant is that features like Drop D tuning take a few clicks. The interface should really make this stuff front and center. A LOT of people go in and out of Drop D, or other tuning modes, during practice. Having to hit extra buttons just means I'm one step closer to getting a tuner on my pedalboard rather than use the app. But the app does work.
