All custom lighting and DJ effects are manual: you have to press and hold on your phone screen to make the lights flash, and when you release, the lights stop flashing. I shouldn't have to press and hold; I should be able to turn on my custom flash and let go. It also is not possible to set the exact tempo of the flash. The app would be more useful if I could set the lights to flash at, for example, 90 bpm. Another useful but missing feature would be for the lights to flash in sync with the music; for example, the louder the music, the brighter the lights. Sony should provide an API to control the lights so that third-party developers can build custom programs for Sony speakers.
This app is a waste of time, and can't be bothered with it, It needs automatic settings! because you need to pre-program certain patterns into it to make program lighting FX Work, spectrum analyser settings are needed as well because it's too much effort to do, Why would you want to sit around with your mates having drinks waisting your time
Garbage. Doesn't work in US and opens a Sony site in UK. Can't connect to SRS-XB40 speakers which it should.
