Works on Nvidia Shield now so that's great. Waiting months for it to work. One thing that's missing that I'm very surprised about is the lack of a "previous channel" option. An idea, Setup the left button on the directional pad of the remotes as the "previous channel" button. I hate having to go into the guide & find the channel that I was watching everytime I want to switch back & fourth between two channels.
You can't watch most of the channels if you're not on their wifi. Spectrum's TV app let's you watch anywhere. This sucks, I just switched because it was supposed to be better. Now I can't watch the game unless I'm home! 😡 And you cannot go to the content providers own app for certain channels either, because they don't support Altafiber. Example, try to watch the game on CBS, the CBS app doesn't have Altafiber as a provider option so you can log in, hence you are unable to watch live TV!
I was told I could watch cable on my other 2 TV's without a cable box. They are smart Samsung tvs both with Google Chromecast. I can't download the app on either device. I can only watch cable on the TV with the box! My sales rep hasn't replied now that the sale is already done. Really regret switching.
