I'm very fond of this app, especially being able to swipe back to delete a full word, but my lasting bugbear is the dictionary scrolling. I hate that deleting a word with an initial uppercase letter sends me all the way back to the very beginning of the dictionary, and not being able to choose which part of the alphabet to scroll to in a dictionary that contains thousands of words is a nightmare! Edit: Thanks, Tim! I believe the latest Android upgrade has fixed the crash issue, however caused.
The best thing about Flexpansion is its prediction. For years I've dreamnt about having prediction that would predict ONLY WORDS I'VE USED. Thought I'd never ever find that feature. Some users (me for eg) would pay double digits just for that feature alone. Flexpansion won't even predict the words "and" or "the" unless I've used them (you have to select "none" in language settings). I really liked AI PLUS keyboard, but their prediction disintegrates into nonsense much of the time.
Really in two minds about this app. As a text expander it works fine but there are a few oddities which prevent 5 stars, namely putting a space after a period/decimal point (annoying when writing decimal numbers, having to backspace after every decimal) and not being able to edit expansions (need to delete and re-create), and no Search function. Also, text expansions which start with an uncapitalized letter are automatically capitalized. Small annoyances which should be avoidable.
