This app is the best investment I've made in my travel and exploration goals. I can know I've gone somewhere new without setting foot on a plane.
Highly inspirational app. Causes me to intentionally take roads less traveled around town for the sake of "lighting it up". This app had me extremely excited from the get go. However, it commonly adds tracks on its own, due to weak signal or something. I'll have random tracks through the water, trees, neighborhoods I've never been in, etc. And there's no way to remove them. This has certainly caused me to stop caring as much about the app, as the tracks drastically lose their merit.
So, first off, I love this app. But today it crashed and forced my phone to restart. Upon reopening the app, literally all my progress was gone. The rebuild database option got me back up to lvl 52 (I think I was 61 or 62?). And all the defogged areas in and around my home city are still lost, though my excursions away from where I live were still kept. I am saddened by this loss of data, and am worried that something like it could happen again.
