Editing to add that both the app and website have a virus of some sort trying to infiltrate your phone, making both entirely unusable. The "Norton anti-virus has detected spyware." And "Congratulations, you're todays winner! Click here to claim your prize. " kind. I'm all set with that. Anyone else know where we're supposed to get news without cable tv? Uninsstalling because of ads. The most infuriating experience, especially when they're over 30 seconds and have false X for closing.
While I normally enjoy the app the recent ads will not let you exit them without closing the app itself. I don't mean how you have to wait 5 seconds to skip the video... I mean when it's done you can't click on the X in the corner to close it out. Otherwise, except for certain stories I have to login to read and the login takes 3 to 4 attempts, everything else is ok on my phone.
I've used this app for years, but now it's getting to be unbearable. I prefer to get my news from Fox, but when you can't use the app, what good is it. Between the ads of late, and whatever bug is implanted that slows the app down and freezes everything what can I do? The developers don't seem to care, except for the occasional apology and thanks for the input which seems halfhearted at best.
