You have to line your hands up etc with the designated zones for the effect to look somewhat realistic. Even then if you slightly shake etc it just throws the whole point of this off. I thought it would be more designed to sense where you are and create an effect from that but that isn't how it seems to work. I spent quite a while playing with this after buying it and just not for me. Good effort but needs a better method.
This app is cool, I mean who doesn't like making special effects to fool others. But my problems are, first, in order to make a video to have a somewhat realistic point of view, one has to position exactly where the special effects would appear (try making a video of yourself shooting Superman's laser beams with those beams coming out of your forehead). Some kind of body sensors should direct the way of the effects. Second, for some reasons I can't share my video to social media platforms
It's great for a belly laugh for 30 mins.. then you better cancel immediately before you throw away $50 on this dysfunctional app. It's VERY close to being great.. but, it's not quite there yet. I'm hoping to try this again someday when they can actually make it follow your movements rather than trying to blindly follow the videos movements & location.
