Website version is way better, but this app feels raw: 1)Often there is a problem with a new picture update during voting: the previous pictures are displayed instead of the new ones. 2)Also, some indicators are not updated after the voting until the update is explicitly requested with a swipe down. 3) Sometimes a lower bar with access to account is not showing up during scrolling down, a restart of the app is required. 4) Also, some elements are not scaled correctly and looking a bit blurry
The app could have become a great thing but it hadn't. First, it has no or little content contol, too many irrelevant, poor quality, stolen or even inappropriate photos (yes, there are dick pics!). First day I played a lot but quickly got tired to scroll all the way down to vote for the photos I really like or for some that at least in competitive quality. You end up wishing just to vote for random images in order to refill your exposure bonus and it ruins all fun.
Functionally, the app is brilliant and with few exceptions, every release has made it better to use and improved participation. Photography is subjective and so while you might not enjoy every photo you see or want to participate in every challenge, there is usually at least one photo challenge you'd enjoy at any given time.
