Android 12 on LG G8. Disconnects from 2ft away, and the mode screen then flashes to a the default settings including "rainbow pulse" etc which my device (Dream~) does not have, which is rather confusing because there's no notification that it disconnected. When it does connect and show the list of 256 preset modes, the speed and brightness controls are BACKWARDS so they control each other. On the single color screen choose a top "preset" then change the color to save your own. Lights+ app-
This app does everything I want with no problems. It connects as soon as I walk into my house. It works without giving it any special permissions. The timer feature is easy to use. The "tape" music mode works through either your phone speaker or the light strip speaker. You can dial-in any color easily and save presets. It could use two improvements: the audio mode should work without using this app as your player and timer should be customizable for days of the week.
Don't bother downloading. Does not connect to device even though it's successfully connected to my phone. There's no way to add device to app if it's not automatically found. Not worth the frustration of trying to disconnect and reconnect to try and get it to work. I tried for over an hour even tried uninstall and reinstall of the app. I got nowhere. Don't download. You'll regret it if you do.
