The content is decent, but this app doesn't work very well. It's poorly designed. It lacks the features of its competitors. It doesn't always save your progress so you have to try and find where you left off. Sometimes it fails to play and leaves you watching a blank screen. I have had problems using it on all platforms. Phone, TV, and computer. The lack of profiles is also frustrating as multiple people in the household all must share the same profile. That is far from ideal.
Poor experience compared to competitors apps. The encoding is lower quality, this is especially apparent in darker scenes. Regularly crashes on both TV and phone or refuses to play. More infuriating there are a number of titles where the audio is out of sync regardless of audio output. Download titles are typically watchable for only 48 hours.
1) downloaded videos need a connection to work. So basically, no point downloading any content. 2) latest watched content not in sync. So if I watch 5 episodes on my phone, and decided to watch the next one, I'll have to manually skip episodes one at a time just to catch up on where I'm at. 3) impossible to find episode list of the show. Which makes point 2 all the more frustrating. Overall system sucks, not just for the phone app but even web browsing.
