I originally got the app a long time ago and had the free version for a while. I then bought the subscription for the stress package. This really helped. However, since then the app seems to gradually be getting worse and will turn itself off in the middle of a meditation or a soundscape while you're trying to sleep. This means that whenever there is a pause in a meditation, I'm left wondering if the app has gone off again or if I'm still in the guided meditation, which causes anxiety.
Updated: Nearly a year ago, I mentioned that I was not happy with the political plugs I had come across while using this app. However, let me say I am quite happy with Headspace now, as they have made a huge (and beautiful) change-up to this program. The meditations, education, ambient sounds, motivations, etc. are all beautifully done and comfortable to spend time within. I've actually shared it with a few people. Thank you, Headspace folks, for making a beautiful, fun, and helpful product!
the app is a bit of a mess. they've turned it into a giant pile of videos. It doesn't highlight what tracks or courses you've started, so you're left to sift through a giant library of videos every time you want to use it. and most of the videos I have no particular interest in. they need to streamline it. I think their product team doesn't have a very good idea of why people actually use the app
