UPDATE: For the most part, exactly what I want in a music player. The biggest issue right now is that there's no way to sort songs in playlists alphabetically (or sort playlists, for that matter). I wish there was a pop-up when you add the same song to the same playlist more than once, so that you don't accidentally end up with multiples on the same playlist. There's no way to pick and choose which folders it sources audio from; it just adds all audio files to its library.
Found this app when I was looking for a better one to manage my networked "KEiiD WiFi & Bluetooth 5.0" device. The "MUZO Player" app that was supposedly designed for my audio device didn't do what I needed (hardly does what it's supposed to do). This app does exactly what I need. To allow playing my NAS's music library over my home network directly on the KEiiD audio stereo device. Simple to use, allows sorting, & random playing of all my 20,000 + songs the way I want to.
The app can play your local music including all DHD flac files I have. However I use the music player to cast to Chromecast audio devices. This functionality of the app however does not work very well at all. The app is slow to start casting. Once it starts casting it seems to drop a connection to the casting device so that if you try to increase or decrease volume or skip a song it does not work anymore. The player also shuts off after about 10 minutes or so of playing.
