This blue app works much better than the new red one, even though this hasn't received an update in almost 4yrs. The new red one has a MAJOR problem during playback and based on how this blue one works, it seems it's an issue they fixed a long time ago. When seeking during playback footage, the red app will stop streaming video. This blue one however seems to understand that seeking on a ribbon isn't the most accurate way so it pauses the feed while u're sliding the ribbon. Never freezes!!!
Awful app. When I could log into it, it was acceptable, but not great. It decided to turn off notifications at the end of every day, so you have to manually go in to turn them back on, so you could easily miss something. Now it has randomly logged me out and I can no longer get logged in as it won't accept any of the captcha entries which means the app, and therefore the whole expensive camera system is completely useless! I tried uninstalling & reinstalling but still getting the same error.
It's not bad at showing live camera footage but when you ask it to do playback it often struggles to get the clip loaded, unless it's for the previous day which seems odd. If the same day playback could be sorted it would be a good app. Update - playworks well at night when under the I.R, but the as soon as daylight arrives playback doesn't work very well. Live view works well most of the, but if you want to view motion alarms in the day time it's not that good. Update - playback still no good
