I like the app, but is the image preview feature ever going to be fixed? It feels like it's been broken forever with no sign of even an acknowledgment of the issue. It's a shame that it feels so dead and full of little quirks and missing features that feel go ignored. Cause if not, it would be my favorite social media app. Overall, the site has my favorite UI out of any social media. But no one I care to follow uses it anymore, so it often feels pointless to open up most days.
I like the potential of this app, but it definitely has some bugs, at least on Android. It takes a little longer to load than most apps, it's not very quick to respond to input (likes take a few seconds to appear), and I can't set my bio pic. It tries to open my photo gallery and nothing happens. I have a Galaxy S22. Has potential, needs work.
so the service is pretty good. seems to be very stable and it has a unified vision for what it can do. the app as it stands on the Google Play Store is very messy. since this app doesn't cache any information, seemingly at all, it's very sluggish and it forgets your place whenever you close and open it. my phone is low on RAM (Google Pixel 3 XL) but if I can only run Hive and nothing else, sharing anything with my friends becomes a chore in futility.
