It's improved a lot over time. Now it saves where you are when viewing playback. Uses less battery, but still a drain though not sure how much that can be fixed. Sharing video also improved a lot and it is overall more responsive. Some developer(s) deserves a raise because they really added a lot of useful features and made the app much better. Thanks!
Would love to give this app 5 stars. The new app design/interface is great; especially compared to what it once was. The issue remains that non-Swann PTZ cameras are claimed to work via plug n' play, but I have yet to find one that does. Swann use to offer a decent quality PTZ camera, but I can't find them anywhere and the ones they offer now do not compare to the other cameras on my system (4k). Please come out with a high quality PTZ camera or offer better support to connect them!
MAJOR improvements over the years but still has weird issues. The biggest problem I've had over time is audio playback is so too choppy to be useful. On one of my devices I have the option for "fluent" playback, which is perfect. On another device I only have the option to toggle HD on and off, video/audio is choppy with HD unselected.Navigation lags, not sure if it is trying to load, I'm not selecting something selectable, or a didn't touch a button. Also not sure if that is my bandwidth problem.
