Edit: after the update I was able to see the stone of the hatchery before the app crashed. Disappointing. And deleting. Went to ComicCon, got access, app crashes every time I enter the hatchery. And crashes hard. Phone loses Bluetooth connection to other devices and I have a black screen for a bit, then it finally goes back to my home screen. I deleted a few apps and cleared some cache just to see if it would help, but no luck. This is the only app my phone has problems with.
I have a Note 8, and this app works really well on it. There are a few glitches that aren't surprising, like my dragon disappearing when next to something the same color or shiny, like stainless steel. And it doesn't always recognize commands correctly. But it is fun, and I have some great photos and videos of my dragon and others in the wild flying in my neighborhood. My phone has never overheated, but I've only ever played it 15 -20 minutes at a time. I love my dragon!
This app has SO MUCH POTENTIAL! I love the concept! However, I'm excited to see it only after it's had some work done because right now it's pretty much unplayable. My dragon is constantly in the floor and while it says it registers the commands, it doesn't move. When I first started, as I walked around, the graphics were lagging to spawn. The names for the dragons are rather strange too if you let it name them (WyrdStreaker among the options LOL). If you have a beta trial, please consider me!
