I love Imgur. However, for the last year, it has been inundated with ads to the point the app is almost unusable. Frequently crashing, unable to scroll for more than a couple of minutes before it is so laggy that you have to exit and open again. Clearing the cache allows you to scroll and watch videos for about 5 minutes if you're lucky.
App is trash. Every update has resulted in it being more and more unstable as viewing more images causing leaks that overload the app. An image browsing app My favorite feature of this garbage fire product is the loading of new content in the background secretly while you are looking at content so that when you click a content, a new content shows up you didn't click on and the original is somewhere else entirely. Godspeed finding it.
Freezes pretty much every single day. Update: Now the download button doesn't work. Please help. Update 7/1/23 - Still freezes and won't load. Tried on multiple wifi networks and 5g mobile data. Still sucks. 3/10/24 - This app slows down after viewing >10 posts or freezes altogether. Can you please fix this app? The ADS load just fine but the posts don't. *sigh*
