Not intuitive at all, I just wanted to look at a few things and I got constant messages from people from India asking me what I wanted etc. I couldn't figure out how to delete the messages, as I didn't want to send any in the first place. It doesn't show verified sellers as it states, and every time I attempted yo click on an item, I stated getting messages from Sellars. What an awful app.
I will describe my experience. I wanted to buy specific variety seeds, contacted few suppliers, the app also did a good job of suggesting me suppliers. Finally, I selected one supplier and called them up and made the purchase via the app. This is where is had a bit of a problem; my first payment attempt didn't go through, so I made another attempt that was successful. But I noticed that my bank a/c was debited twice. I wrote to IndiaMart and payment was credited back. Pls fix payment portal.
Indiamart is no Alibaba. The layout and the user interface of the app leaves much to be desired. User-friendliness is not one if its virtue. It's got a lots of catch-up to do, if it want to compete with the likes of Alibaba or Ebay. However, that said, it does get things done if you're comfortable sloshing through the tedious and cumbersome processes of closing a simple deal.
