The changes done to login process through APP made the whole banking system of ING extremely vulnerable and dangerous. If someone knows PIN to your app you are done, with photo based authentication they can log in to fully-fledged service without giving any extra data (which means that you can set limit to, say 1000 EUR in the app, and then use the app to log in and be able to change it). This is amazing incompetence on security department of ING, shame - I don't feel safe in this bank anymore.
Despite so many reviews pointing out the lack of English options, it seems ING Germany is adamant on not providing it and thereby losing some valuable expat customers to other banks that have English versions. Its high time ING also should provide English version in the competitive digital world where people want to do everything with their mobiles.
The app is actually quite nice, but this in-app marketing stuff ("offers", "did you know?") is super annoying to me. Every single time I open the app, which I do multiple times per day, the first thing I do is click on the little "x" to remove this distracting clutter! But those boxes keep showing. It really makes me angry... :( The least thing you should do is to offer an opt-out of this stuff! Edit: I did sent an mail (why don't you forward the feedback?!), but only received a general excuse.
