Extremely helpful, has tiny bit of clunkiness. The app, as said in that first bit: only issue I have is that it has points where the way the interface works could be improved. BUT, I would recommend it to anyone wanting a pollution tracker. I need to keep track daily, as I move from city to city, country to country, of the pollution levels and decide when to wear a mask to combat it for health and my voice. If wondering get it and try it. Ive been very pleased.
I made the mistake of upgrading. It crashed and I had to reinstall, losing all my settings. And now the map doesn't work, it shows readings in a gray space, no underlying map. Edit: the map details started coming in. But it's slow and buggy, far worse than it was before. Second edit: you can track far fewer places than before. 2023-12-30: still allows tracking only 9 places, when you used to be able to manage many more.
I like it for the most part. However, I wish there was a threshold alert option for PM 2.5 levels, as this is the most relevant during wildfire season. My area had an air quality alert, and I didn't find out until 2 days into it from a completely different app! The particulate matter was quite dangerous, but didn't trigger an AQI alert. This seems like a major design flaw! I had physical symptoms from the bad air, but could not figure out the cause. More alert options would help
