The reviews are right, it's bug ridden. The app constantly tries to make you log in and register, refusing to save your sound settings otherwise. The "update" to fix a hardware bug, is bugged. The case sometimes just does not show up as connected and the buds sometimes just don't play sound untill you refresh the app. If you don't use the app and just use them as normal Bluetooth buds, they are perfect. It's actually sad, such an amazing product. Software should be the least problematic.
lately, the auto-pause feature turns itself back on no matter how many times I go into settings to turn it off. also, the sound management settings change to surround sense as the default settings despite having set it to ANC. this happens when I take them out of the case. I have reinstalled the app but that didn't correct the problem.
Connectivity... I have an android phone and an iPhone. With the app installed, I have to disconnect and reconnect Bluetooth manually on the android phone to hear music, even though phone connected by Bluetooth successfully when they come out of the case. If I uninstall the app, no issues, but no EQ, etc. On the iPhone, works flawlessly. You need to fix the android version of the app! Otherwise, fantastic earbuds. The Android version of the app is a loser.
