The idea is great and simple and the app sticks to it. But it also doesn't offer any extra features. You draw a route and it shows you the distance and estimated time. And with the tap of a button it snaps your route to nearby roads. But I refuse to pay 6€ for a feature that quite honestly I could program myself over the weekend. I was fine with the 1,50€ for the pro version. It seemed like a reasonable price. But it only unlocked a few settings, nothing else. Without snap this app is useless.
I like the app and it does exactly what I wanted. Rated 4 stars instead of 5 because after the route is drawn you cannot upload it to Google Maps for navigation. You can only use an app called Routes for navigation.
It's been working great for planning canoe routes in less traveled areas without a physical map and rule etc. Adjustable speed is a good feature. lake elevation would be cool but it's all good.
