Way too expensive. I'm no stranger to paying, but comparable apps have chapters going for around $0.20. This app has chapters for $0.70... and they split chapters, so you have to pay more! Viz (the other large manga publisher) has 3000 chapters for $2 every month! Sure, I'd like to support the official releases, but this is simply unsustainable. Reading one singular series from start to finish would set you back more than $120, WITH the free chapters that are months behind. It's simply insane.
The primary issue is the monetization system, it's far too expensive for digital media. With the Viz model it's much more palatable, I would be more inclined to pay for a subscription then this pay as you go coin system, it's like webtoons which is why I stopped reading. The UI and search also needs improvement. You have the key elements there, it wouldn't take much to be able to search by say completed series, frequency of updates, and more. Pinch to zoom also does not function on the pixel6
Horrible UI, and the entire app is designed about being as frustrating as possible to make you buy manga. Earning points is slow, and tickets expire after a day or two. Also had a consistent issue where manga would need to buffer every few pages which I've never had with competing apps. Unless you intend to buy into this micro transaction hell, don't bother.
