Great set of useful tools. I upgraded from the prior version. I don't use it much, but i wanted to support the developer. The compass is greatly improved. It would be nice to be able to convert GPS coords. It also would be nice to have a calculator that adds feet and inches directly and calcs the result in feet/inches. I have a calculator that already does that, but I'd love to see something like it in this app. Thanks for the very handy set of tools!
I've used Smart Tools on my devices for years, it's great. I prefer the look of the old interface compared to the new one. Nothing really impressed me, yet, about the new version over the old version. From what I can tell, it is essentially the exact same set of tools, at least for now. I think they do plan to add more later on. I went ahead and paid for this version anyway to do my part to support the dev for providing such a great suite of tools for as long as they have been.
Everything is working fine, and it's a must-have set of tools. Though i would like to add that the sound meter doesn't go above 90dB, I understand that it's a 16-bit microphone limitation like the dev mentioned in a reply. Unfortunately, calibration by adding 30dB isn't ideal as it's only shifting the measurement hence it won't be accurate.
