The compass works really well, and I really like how it overlays Google Maps with the compass. However, this app is not usable because it pops up full screen ads on your phone even when you do not have the compass app open. Just as one of the other reviewers here said, I had an ad pop up while I was using Google Maps to drive somewhere, so I had no directions until I was at a safe point to hit the back button to clear the ad. I can understand having ads in the app itself, but ads should not be popping up in other apps also.
Not Accurate. While this app is feature rich and well thought out it was consistently wrong. I point Satellite dishes and noticed the headings were always left of where it should be. It's not calibration on my phone because I know how to calibrate and other compass apps I use on my phone are correct. It's a shame because I really like the features just can't use them if it's not going to be accurate.
I have had this app for years now and it is a Google compass. However, the decimal coordinates are inaccurate. For WV particularly, and possibly the US, it should show a negative in front of the number for the West. Not just the number, as it represents the East. Given my background, if I were lost, stuck, or injured and had to contact 911, I would know to put the negative in front of the number when giving the coordinates. However, not everyone may not know to do that.
