I like the phrases option, so I can read and listen to possible conversational structure. It is a good ap for listening to a few minutes of the language. I felt like it added variety to my learning experience and helped train my listening skills. I get annoyed that there isn't a way to control the audio like rewind or previous phrase. The audio is great, very clear.
This app is OK but I don't think it is for me. It doesn't make sense to just jump into full on sentences rather than learning individual words. I mean I know it does teach you some individual words but then you take the test and half the sentence are words that you've never gone over! I think I'll just stick with Duolingo. I've learned a great deal the way Duolingo has designed the progression of lessons and the order in which they are in.
The app just quit working. It won't play the audio when I attempt to review my vocabulary. Additionally, all of the zipped audio files won't unzip and become playable. I feel like I wasted my money! This app can't be used when you have the other 50 languages installed. It's very frustrating if you're trying learn more than one language using their apps. When I brought this to the attention of the developers they provided silly and sorry excuses. When I asked for a return of my money they refused.
