The app does work for the most part. I bought my F3 watch off of eBay, and the ad said with Android devices it would control your mp3 player through your phone, as well as handle calls. The app does show the phone and SMS "remind" option, but nothing about music control. The text and phone notification feature hasn't worked yet. For reference I use an Android at&t smartphone called a TETRA, and have the latest Android version. The app does find the watch, camera "shake" to click feature works, it syncs steps and blood pressure, heart rate, etc. Heart rate is not correct, and I'm no doctor but I know I have high blood pressure and the app continues to say it's normal. I'm 99 percent sure it's just a random algorithm. Hey it's a cheap watch. You want accuracy, spend $200 on a Fitbit or other name brand. I'm mostly interested in time, step count and water resistance. For those frustrated with the military time, you have to go to the app in Personal Setting and change from 24 hour there, then sync again Might have to reset your phone to re-sync sometimes.
Band becoming useless. App does not sync all data. Sleep tracking stopped working. Cannot get HR & BP in app. 12/31: New watch face appeared overnight. Looks great. Intermittent connectivity and syncing. Manual sync, HR, and BP often fails. 12/29: Worked great until last update. Now it will not sync data from band. App is connected to band. Band shows Bluetooth connection. Tried all troubleshooting tips from the Help section without success.
I like the wristband ok, it was cheap and effective, but this app is garbage. Very unintuitive, difficult to find and change important setting like units of measurement, lots of ads (unacceptable for an app that already requires the purchase of hardware) and crashes regularly. I still have found no way to change the units for temperature from Celsius to Fahrenheit, and there is no help online unless you can read Chinese.
