With the original Overdrive app, I could access any of my downloaded audiobooks at any time. With Libby, it often happens that even though an audio book shows completely downloaded, it was not, and to listen to it I have to be within cell/Wi-Fi service. I use this feature when I'm at our cabin, off the grid. It is frustrating to think my book is downloaded and ready to listen to, only to get Playback Error-check your Internet connection.
this is amazing! as long as your library has it, Libby has it. The only suggestion I have so far is for the filter - I would like to filter OUT some things, not just in. For example, I would like to read anything but juvenile fiction, but I don't want to click everything else to get that. I love how you can adjust the speed of the audiobooks for easier comprehension and how you can even choose what other app you want to read your books on. it's really cool.
Libby is excellent at getting me the science mags that I like. I've had a pleasant experience reading with this great app. My only gripe is that it's some- times too sensitive. The wrong amount of pressure or errand touch leads to my having to re-find the page that I was perusing. Now, for the future, let's expand to movie streamer & radio broad- casting as well... Then, we could talk about enabling audiobook streaming! And no, I don't think that I'm asking for too much - joke!!
