So far, this has been worth the investment. I'm trying to learn to be an interpreter so this is a great study tool. My only issues are that 1) you can't change the time when it reminds you to do it- just does it at the end of the day when I'm about to sleep and 2) I wish it had more versions of a sign. I've seen some where they don't look like ones I was originally taught. Especially for an online resource where you can't teach the local versions, I think the diversity is important. Otherwise 👍
I have been wanting to learn ASL for years. I saw an ad and decided to try the free trial. The variety of ways they teach and different style of questions really keeps you involved and I just want to keep completing levels. I do wish you could pause dialogue videos but overall this is an amazing app and I would recommend it to everyone!!
From the ads and play store I thought this was going to be a free app with "in-app" purchases. Definitely not the case. You get 10 minutes in and you hit a huge paywall. $120 a year seems pricey. If it was a one time fee, MAYBE? Yearly, definitely not. Or you could do the $17.99 a month option, but that's a no for me. All of this is unfortunate because it seems like a great learning tool.
