The app simply does not work. I verified myself 10 times using passports, driver's licenses, IDs, debit cards, credit cards, visas, mastercards, my face and every other verification known to man but it was to no avail. Don't waste your time with this useless application. Shame on you! "BEAM" another app, the purple scooters, worked perfectly! I recommend downloading that app since it does what it advertised. Sadly they have far fewer scooters than marti.
I have spent hours trying to add a credit card to the app. My wife uses an Apple iPhone and had no problems. I installed the Adroid app and with the same cards it kept asking for 3d secure (even though the iPhone version didnt). Turns out you need to register a card with Mastercard services first. I registered my Turkisk bank card (UK ones didn't work) and managed to set up card payments. It's a clever system but it was painful setting up and it is expensive - the same cost as a taxi.
Uses notifications to promote their new awful service every 5 seconds, you can't turn it off as a notifcation group. Screw you I guess. Charges the most, has the most bugs. Every scooter they have out there is problematic. So many times I have dependended on this service but got screwed every. single. time.
