Tried charging the probe, but it will not connect. I took out the battery for over 5 minutes to reset everything, but still no connection to the probe. Then, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, there was still no connection to the probe. Even tried to scan with bluetooth, but keep getting the message that the app is needed, although the app is there. Nice idea, but the wired probes are reliable. Update: A couple of days later, It actually connected and updated. Maybe two hrs not enough to charg
loses connection between cooks, has to reconnect all the time. got this thing because it's accurate and advertises range on every part of the Internet. happy with accuracy, disappointed with connectivity.. tired of plugging and unplugging probe to get things to connect. you're too close, too far, too left. bah We were playing with custom child, and it gets stuck on alert screen and you have to quit the app to get out. And then it doesn't connect. What's the point if the probe is in use?
