Ever since WinAMP died, I'd been searching for a suitable replacement (I hate windows players and I will never use Apple products). I went through a couple of other players but settled with MMW/MMA because they were the closest to WinAMP that I could find. MMA has come a long way over the years. WifI sync now works great. A couple of small hiccups but usually force closing the app and restarting fixes those issues. I've been having some isues with album art not syncing properly recently.
I'm a fan of Media monkey on Windows. The Android version has been a bit harder for me to understand. For example, I accidentally turned on repeat asingle track. Also it took me a while to figure out how to use shuffle play in my playlists. Sending a support email required me to create an account on a helpdesk, which I didn't feel like doing. But eventually, I sussed out the shuffle play and a a few other things. I am enjoying this app to play my music. I'm using the Pro version.
More or less functional. Does not sync ratings from mobile to desktop. I've been troubleshooting this since first getting MM and finding many others with the same problem. Automatic playlists only work on the desktop, not on Android. Any changes on Android for auto playlists require two syncs to take effect - if the sync works at all. Seriously looking for alternative solutions. This just doesn't work as well as it should for a paid product.
