Of course, quality content creators should get paid for their efforts and work, so I had no problem signing up for the paid version. Suddenly today after using the app since September 2023, I can no longer save interesting stories to my lists. I'm a seasoned IT professional, I did all the usual stuff and nothing worked. I can save them online so it is the app. I get an "oops, something went wrong, try again later." Help!!!
3/16 Update: There was an update to the app today and apparently that fixed it! 5-stars for great content and great app support! 3/14: Can't save to lists in-app any longer. I get an "Oops" message. I'll change this rating if it's fixed or someone can tell me how, otherwise I'll cancel my subscription. The ball is in your court :) and you've got 48 hours to reply. I love medium but my current experience is worth $0.
content is good, very frustrating & time consuming using search. when I search it, shows me results from everyone that has ever written anything instead of just the people I follow, and I am unable to search only within certain writers profile for stories they have written on that subject. because of this I am going to cancel my subscription and uninstall. It keeps showing stories from accounts I don't follow and filtering through feed takes too much time. Hopefully they fix this soon.
