It does have "local" people and it's by city, BUT most are bots and you only get to try your luck with about 25 swipes per day and the "local" tab does not filter new users, it's always the same and the only good way to really find locals is through the "swipe". Aside from all this, the filter system sucks or is just non-existent
This app lags more than all my other apps combined, there's 10 times more bots than people, the keyboard never to come up when you try to send message and the MeetMe can't swipe more than 5 profiles before the app crashes. To say the least, you need Technical Support that actually knows how to fix all of these problems and more because it's only getting worse.
This app used to be pretty good. I actually met my ex here. Now it's trash, the verification system doesn't always stick. I had to make a new account and took forever to get verified. Even worse most of the people that message you try to get you to go to other sites or they're asking for money. I've lost just about all faith in meetme ever being decent again. They even have commercials on peoples live steams now.
