MEGA, as a service, is pretty decent, but this app is one of the worst I've encountered. Updates routinely break core features, so it's clear that no testing is performed. File transfers inexplicably remain at 0% despite a strong wifi connection and everything else working just fine. What a shame. EDIT: With the latest update, the app frequently opens and sits on a blank white screen. Same thing happens when previewing files. Unreal.
I Cannot play Gifs larger then 70mb, but overall has amazing playback and file support. It needs the ability to sync folders locally on Android like I can on desktop. So I can have a reliable offline backup on my phone and PC. The built in offline mode sucks, it's does not automatically download files. I would give it 5 stars if these issues are addressed, I do love the product because it's cheap, reliable and the user interface is good. Your 90% there to having the perfect cloud storage app.
I swear everytime this app gets an update, it just gets even more worse during its performance. Recently, just now I was downloading some videos from my files it said the downloads were complete only to find out it wasn't and it didn't even tell me it was canceled or couldn't upload videos to my phone. Then what makes it worse sometimes in order download things it's saying transfer files and it takes longer to just download then a couple of seconds? Yeah this app is hitting rock bottom.
