Metronome EX is an easy-to-use ,accurate and free metronome software. It has the following features:- Set fast. You can quickly adjust BPM and beats per bar.
- Intuitive design. As long as you compare the time signature on the sheet music, you can set the rhythm you want correctly.
- You can control the metronome playback from the notification drawer or lock screen without having to reopen the APP.
- Its playback can be controlled by the wired or Bluetooth headset button. It is particularly convenient for sports training with headphones. (Most metronome apps do not have this feature).
- Each beat can be set to /accent/semi-accent/normal/mute/. These four different sounds allow you to freely edit the rhythm you want.

I love the optional sounds that are available, a few more wouldn't hurt though. I would give this app a five star rating if I had the optio of saving beats that i have set up. That way, i could play multiple songs, one after the other, without having to set up a nee tempo each time. I want to be able to go through a set of at least 10 songs without the delay between songs.
What this app is missing a lot of things that I would really like to see in an instrument that is keeping track of time. I would like to see you able to do syncopations that are more intricate such as eighth notes and quarter notes and half notes and sixteenth notes, and for you to be able to pick out exactly what influence I had or symbol or cake or Tom you want to use on each one of those notes on each one of those half notes whole notes or what whatever syncopation those notes might be up so that way it is actually like a real drum set. This could be then said inside of some kind of sequencing type display which that will take a little bit of work to be able to figure out exactly but it is absolutely doable I want a complish a guitarist like me and be his own drummer on his electronics digital tracks he is recording on his computer and smartphones
REALLY COOL--I've been drumming for 29 years & this app is FUNctional!! I took a little time to "lay down" some of the beats I have created over the years (I'll try 1 or 2 per day...) & it is so cool to SEE and HEAR my own rudiments. I would recommend this SUPER Metronome to ANY level drummer &/or musician. Also the tempo of your phrases can be adjusted very easily. ALSO, can hear your desired beat played on different instruments! PLUS it lets you TAP away & tells you the BPM! Explore!FUN:)
