I am using the mini piano pro app. It cost $2.99 and doesn't have any ads. Well worth the price. You can set it to any type of sound you like. Just like any electronic keyboard. There are many settings available but I just use the keyboard to help with finding my notes and to checking that I am singing on pitch. You can play multiple keys at the same time. Nifty little aid.
Seriously must have app for music creation. The sampled Bosendorfer piano is the best! Also I have used different MIDI keyboards with it...no problem! Sometimes I use the onscreen keyboard as you can do things with it that are impossible on a physical keyboard like sliding up & down several keys. The other instruments are very good too. Also like the recording file is MIDI which can be changed to WAV if you like. It's very easy to import the MIDI files into my DAW (Cubasis). All this on Android!
This app is great! No menus at startup, it goes straight to the keys and the ads on lite ver. weren't intrusive at all. The only complaint I have is that when pressing the play song button, the selection menu doesn't leave anymore. It stays there until you close the app. Is there a way to fix this?
