I've been using mood for over five years and loved it, but this latest update has made the app so awful to look at that I can't continue to use it. The new chat list page is not at all what I want from an app, and until there's an option to put it back the way it was, I won't be using mood anymore. Edit: The Jan 13 update does not change the layout everyone has an issue with. Feedback doesn't seem to matter to them.
I've been a premium user for at least 7 yrs. I tried using Samsung and Android messages, but they can't convert long SMS to MMS automatically. Instead, they split a long text into multiples and sometimes the texts aren't received in the correct order. MMS totally solves that problem. Lots of other things I love but not enough space. Two negatives, though, are 1) no auto-dark mode and 2) required access to calls. I don't want any of the integrated call features and can't turn them off.
I never do reviews, but I had to say something. I have been using the Mood app for years and have always really liked it with all of the customization you can do. I absolutely despise this new update that just came out! The appearance is terrible. I really do not like how it separates your list of texts by date and the fact that everything is in boxes. Ugly and annoying.
