I've been having some issues with their other (apparently now less loved player) Rocket Player for about a week. I figured I'd give this a try since it seems to be the new favorite child. Unfortunately, this player lacks many of the features rocket player has already, including (crucially) the ability to sync playcounts from isyncr (their program, mind you). Why on earth would I choose to use a slightly overhauled music player with less features than your existing player?
Nice interface, but has a few bugs. I can't select songs in search, although I can open album results fine. The player recognizes playlist files I already have in my library but there are no songs in them. Edit: additional bugs found. Tag editing appears to be ineffective. Library seems to ignore mp4 files, which puts it a level of functionality below Rocket Player. This app has a lot of potential, but it's obviously a work in progress.
JRT wants this to replace Rocket Player, which is good because Rocket has started to deteriorate.. On the plus side, "Sleep Timer" is a good feature. However, they got rid of the automatic "Recently Played" playlist, which I really miss. Another downer: when showing a playlist, you get graphics of albums in alphabetical order (not song order!) but you can't see the basics, like number of songs and total time. The ads are very aggressive, but $30 a month is WAY TOO MUCH.
