I tried 5 of the most downloaded apps in this category before narrowing down on this. I am sticking with this one. One small recommendation: Instead of the scrolling date entry, is it possible to have a drop down to select from a month view? Most of the items expire in next 3 to 6 months. It would be faster to select the date by tapping on the date from a dropdown.
Does a lovely job for a free app (ads are unobtrusive, and there's a modest subscription option for ad-free, widget and cosmetic benefits). A godsend if you want to keep track of what's in your kitchen and when it'll go bad! Lovely, responsive developer - apparently a major update is in the works so I'm excited to see what new features it brings.
This app is very well organized, exactly what I needed!! And easy to use, especially with the barcode feature. 2 suggestions: it would be easier to have the possibility to also type in the date, instead of just scrolling through the calendar - items like canned beans or similar have very long expiration dates, it's a lot of swiping! Also, it would be nice to be able to add more main lists, i.e. we have a secondary fridge in the garage and I'd like to keep that list separate.
