I have been using Movie Pro since the beginning and it has been wonderful in many ways. love seeing what we already have. love being able to filter in any order. Also the export option is awesome. When I used to lend a movie series to a friend, I loved being able to identify that and the person with the date. I never lost a series after that lol. The savings alone on double a triplicate buying. Now when I'm in a store and I wonder if I already have that, I just check and save $$.
Mediocre. I have 404 movies entered for reference. Every time I open the app it needs to update my titles, which I have to assume downloads gigs worth of data because it takes forever. When you enter a movie collection set, it won't enter each movie title, so it acts as though you don't own them when you search. Which by the way you can only search by movie title text, not actor, not movie running time, not aspect ratio, not director, not year, shall I go on? Lists can only be shared by PDF.
Very useful app when you have a lot of movies you want to keep track of. I don't mind occasionally supporting the devs, but it looks like they are moving to a subscription based service, which would make this a pass for me if I hadn't paid for the app. Not because the app isn't worthy of support, but because too many businesses have gone to this model and I'm sick of it.
