Update 2: Why can't I turn night mode on and off from the app anymore?! Update: Why can't you zoom in on the app? I know you can pinch zoom, but that doesn't zoom the actual camera like you can from the home unit or whatever it's called. You can pan and tilt the actual camera, but not zoom. Doesn't make sense. The app is as horrible as night mode on the camera. The moral of the story is that both are completely useless.
I wanna know who made that awful decision thinking it was a "smart" & "brilliant" move to remove the night mod feature from the app without prior announcement, because that person(s) deserves to be fired!!! Utterly disappointed by the sudden changes, I've advised my friends and relatives to stay away from VTech products until this issue is sorted and fixed. Until then, my 1-star rating will remain unchanged.
Zero stars until they fix this. I can't even create an account in the app....and yes, I have checked all the usual things (properly spelled email, password requirements, version, uninstall and reinstall, etc.). It's ridiculous that I spend literally hundreds of dollars to be able to monitor away from home and bought this system specifically for that reason and I can't even create an account in the app and they don't provide an option to create it online. I will update if they resolve.
