I thought paying for a teleprompter would be so much more effective than other free teleprompter. However, I was incorrect. This app is difficult to align and crop the text to flip camera to face me. The free teleprompters does it automatically with no background just text. The remote for this teleprompter barely works. Now I realize I rather have no remote but a great working teleprompter. I'm just happy it wasn't expensive to purchase. I apologize but I can't recommend this.
UPDATE: After detailing my disappointment, the developers reached out and explained how to change the key mapping and voila! the remote works. I’ve updated to four stars. Why four? Because the ux designer that put the location of the keymapping function on the search bar should be sent packing. OLD REVIEW: This app seems good enough as a teleprompter, but I had hoped it would work with my teleprompter remote. But there does not appear to be settings in the app to add custom controls. Bummer.
Fairly easy to use. I had requested a refund as I could not find a way to hit play for the text to begin scrolling. After getting a response from the developer, turns out the little gauge on bottom right can't be on zero, that is the speed at which to scroll and click on text to start/stop. I will keep it. Just wish I could make bigger not necessarily full screen.
