I had 4 mini split indoor units hooked up and running. The 5th I ordered. Even before I went to insert it into the 5th wall unit, I went to my home screen and noticed my 2 bedroom units somehow lost there connections, the 2 ceiling mounts were fine. I tried everything, getting into the wifi and checking the channels and making sure it was 2.4 ghz. I've sent customer support 3 separate times with the problems including and screen shots. I haven't received one response. Go somewhere else. AVOID
EDIT: Please explain the new permission for this app to appear on top of other apps? One highly desirable feature would be if a preferred louver direction could be added to the "favorite" setting. That way Alexa or GH could turn on the air conditioner and the louver would automatically be set perfectly! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Strangely, I get temperature control of my Danby AC with the NetHome Alexa skill, but the Google Home integration only allows on and off and does not show the temperature!
After a year and a half of use with 5 mini splits, one of them started changing settings on its own. A reply from the app developer was finally received suggting the WiFi adapter was some how being cloned and used by another app user. Luckily the retailer did replace it even though it outside of the warranty period. The app itself is pretty basic when compared to other brands, and when it s working offers all the functionality I need including group actions and timer functions.
